Yes. Tell Reg the job in plain English, for example "like-for-like combi swap in a 3-bed semi, new flue and filter, power flush", and he writes an itemised quote from your own rates. You check it before it goes to the customer.
Is it worth it if I do a lot of small call-outs?

Can I take a deposit before I order the boiler?
Yes. Send the quote with a deposit request and the customer pays it by card or bank transfer from the same link. The balance invoice goes out when the job's done, and both show against the job in Graft.
Can my business and Gas Safe registration number go on my quotes?
Yes. Your business name, contact details and registration number sit on every quote and invoice Graft sends, so your paperwork looks like it came from a registered engineer, not a notepad in the van.
How does MTD affect me as a self-employed plumber?
